1. Purpose of These Guidelines

RENTA is a platform connecting people who want to rent and borrow items.

These Community Guidelines are designed to maintain a safe, trustworthy, respectful, and lawful environment for all users.

Using the app constitutes agreement to these guidelines and to RENTA's Terms of Use.

2. Mutual Respect

Every user commits to treating other users with respect and fairness. The following are prohibited: profanity, threats, harassment, intimidation, extortion, violent behaviour, offensive language, discrimination of any kind, incitement, and publication of harmful content.

3. Accurate Information

When using RENTA, users must provide truthful, complete, and accurate information. Do not impersonate another person, open an account in another person's name without their authorisation, provide false information, use forged documents, or post photos that do not accurately represent the item.

4. Listing Items

Only items that can lawfully be rented may be listed. The owner is responsible for ensuring the item is in their possession or ownership, is in good working order and safe to use, is accurately described, and is clearly photographed.

5. Prohibited Content

It is prohibited to publish, offer, rent, hire, or promote via RENTA:

• Drugs or prohibited substances
• Weapons, ammunition, or explosives
• Stolen or counterfeit goods
• Official documents or forged payment instruments
• Malware or hacking tools
• Sexual services, escort services, or any service of a sexual nature
• Animals whose transfer is prohibited by law
• Pornographic, extremely violent, or privacy-violating content
• Any item or service prohibited by law

6. Lawful Use Only

Users commit to using the app in compliance with all applicable law. RENTA must not be used to commit offences, fraud, money laundering, theft, harassment, privacy violations, copyright or trademark infringement, or any other unlawful activity.

7. Off-Platform Transactions

To protect user safety, it is recommended that all stages of a transaction take place through RENTA. RENTA is not responsible for transactions, payments, or agreements made outside the platform.

8. Ratings and Reviews

Ratings and reviews are intended to reflect genuine user experience. Do not post false reviews, defamatory content, threats, another person's personal information, offensive content, or spam. RENTA may remove reviews that violate these guidelines.

9. Reporting Users

Any user may report fraud, impersonation, prohibited listings, harassment, threats, attempts to circumvent platform rules, and any behaviour that may endanger other users. RENTA will review every report at its reasonable discretion.

10. Enforcement Actions

In the event of a violation of the Community Guidelines, RENTA may: remove a listing, remove content, cancel a transaction, suspend listing privileges, suspend an account, block an account temporarily or permanently, restrict access to certain features, and report to competent authorities where required by law.

11. Privacy Protection

Do not publish another user's personal information without their consent. It is prohibited to use information obtained through RENTA for unauthorised marketing, spam, harassment, impersonation, or any other unauthorised purpose.

12. Changes to Community Guidelines

RENTA may update these guidelines from time to time. The updated version will be published in the app and will take effect on the date specified in the publication.
